24th August was the day I’ve been waiting for and training for all year! The start of the big run - the Ultra Trail CCC, 86.5km with 4,500 m of ascent.
I’m glad to say that it went really well. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of running this incredible event. It was certainly tough at times; there where time I thought I would not make it, but in the end I arrived in Chamonix at 5:38am on Saturday morning, 17 Hours 8 Minutes after I left Courmayeur, in 361 st place (Out of 1,600 starters)!
I’m over the moon at such a good position for my first Ultra Marathon, having only done my first Marathon this year as well!

Another Event, this time the Village local one. It’s one of the toughest crosses on the circuit, at 19km with 1,900m of ascent. Starts in the Valley at 580m and climbs up to the end of the Tramway Mont Blanc - the starting point of the Mt Blanc climb - at 2372m.
