Chocolate !

Tracey asked me if I wanted some chocolate, Joseph heard and came rushing over all excited! Looks like we will have to be careful what we say from now on - no sneaky chocky snacks!

Here are some new photo’s of Joe from the end of summer, beginning of autumn.

B-Bear !

Joes new thing ! He now calls all his Teddy Bears B Bear ! It’s very cute, although slightly confusing when he asks for the bear.

No other words realy, although hew does try to say ‘Ham’ because he really like ham, and he bables alot. He just started saying Pa Pa Pa Pa this evening for some reason!

Ultra Trail Courmayeur - Chamonix

24th August was the day I’ve been waiting for and training for all year! The start of the big run - the Ultra Trail CCC, 86.5km with 4,500 m of ascent.

I’m glad to say that it went really well. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of running this incredible event. It was certainly tough at times; there where time I thought I would not make it, but in the end I arrived in Chamonix at 5:38am on Saturday morning, 17 Hours 8 Minutes after I left Courmayeur, in 361 st place (Out of 1,600 starters)!

I’m over the moon at such a good position for my first Ultra Marathon, having only done my first Marathon this year as well!

There is a full writup on mountainnomad. In the meantime here are some pictures.
